About the Big Red Barn

The DAV hall is a renovated barn built in the late 1800s. The venue has hosted, and if perfect for, wedding receptions, holiday parties, seminars, and craft-shows. Located on Dequindre Rd. just north of Auburn Rd,  our facility is a straight shot to M59 and is conveniently located in Shelby Township and near Rochester/Rochester Hills, Troy, and Sterling Heights.

Guest capacity of the hall is approximately 250 people, which is dependent on desired floor plan. Tables (8ft rectangle, seats up to 8) and chairs are provided, as well as a stove to reheat food, space in our commercial refrigerator, and an ice cooler which can accommodate two (2) ½ kegs.

You would be responsible for providing food, alcohol, decorations, plates, silverware, table coverings, etc. Serving alcohol requires one (1) bartender and one (1) onsite security guard for an additional total charge of $150 for every 100 people. For example: a two hundred person event would cost an additional $300 for the event.
